Hagan is on private property, though visible from the road and fully enticing in terms of cool ghost towns. Located between I-25 and Hwy 14 a couple of miles before Hagan, it is accessed by taking the dirt road accessed at the back of San Felipe Casinos parking lot. The road does eventually connect to Highway 14, but I haven't figured out where yet.

Mogollon is one of the best 'ghost towns' in New Mexico. Once a remote, rowdy mining town, there are still a few folks who call it home. For visitors exploring the Gila, there is lodging available in Mogollon...for a serious, Old West experience. The road in is sketchy and not really two lanes. Limited visibility sporadically, with evidence of flood damage. The cows find motorists annoying and aren't in a hurry to move. #newmexico #newmexicotrue #nmtrue #purenm #instagramersnm…

Tyrones palatial buildings have been crumbling for more than 70 years as the great plans for a large copper mining town did not come into existance.
