Designs for secondary coverage: I love this because it incorporates a lot of information with just the right amount of visual elements. We could morph this into a really cool spread on virtually any topic.
This graph is mostly accurate as far as I can tell with one major exception: the fiscal cliff is not a crisis. It is nothing like a default or financial meltdown, which cause immediate and long-lasting damage. It will take at least two business cycles for its effects to become truly potent, and is fully reversable. That said, it would be better if we don't go over the cliff.
