I took my grandmothers picture and wore it around my neck so she could be a part of one of the best days of my life. Mike and I had been together for over 12 years, since June 2002. We were among the first same sex couples to wed in the state of Nevada. Same sex marriage had just became law less than a month before we wed. It was so awesome being a part of this historic event.

The only picture I have of my 1964 Cadillac, taken right before I was forced to sell it and my 1959 Cadillac for junk, I wasn't allowed to keep them on my mothers property because she couldn't deal with the fact that I had moved in to live with a black man.
