I worked at McDonalds many years ago. This is the way that they made the onions for the burgers. I did this to go with Recipe #106882. Im guessing at the yield but you can get enough for 4-5 burgers depending on how much you like funky onions.

CRACK POTATOES 2 (16oz) tubs of Sour Cream 2 cups Shredded Cheddar cheese 2 (3oz) Bags Bacon Bits 2 pkgs Ranch Dip mix 1 large bag (28-30oz) Shredded potatoes Mix first 4 ingredients until well blended. Add potatoes, pour into large casserole dish. Bake at 400 degrees for 45-60 minutes or until top is lightly browned and potatoes are cooked thoroughly.
