16-strand necklace (22 inches long) by artist Anna Holland of Dorje Designs (www.dorjedesigns.com) (http://www.dorjedesigns.com/gallery.php?gallery_id=87) || As she herself writes about it: "This colorful 16-strand necklace is made of old beads from a Fulani woman’s waist belt. The Fulani are a nomadic tribe from Cameroon, and these belts were typically worn under the  women’s skirts. The sterling silver hook and eye clasp was handmade in Sri Lanka."
