Prince Georg Timo, known as Timo; Prince Albrecht Friedrich, known as Dedo; and Prince Rupprecht Hubertus, known as Gero, the 3 sons of Princess Sophie of Luxembourg and her husband Prince Ernst Heinrich of Saxony. Of the 3 brothers only Prince Timo married and had children. Prince Dedo died on 6 Dec. 2009; Prince Gero on 10 April 2003.
Adolf, Prince of Schwarzenberg, husband of Princess Hilda of Luxembourg. Adolf was fiercely anti-Nazi and opposed them in both Austria and Czechoslovakia. In response, the Nazis seized all of Adolf's property in those countries. Adolf fled to Switzerland but his adopted son, Heinrich, also anti-Nazi, was imprisoned in Buchenwald. Adolf returned to Czechoslovakia after the war but the communist government refused to return his stolen property to him.
