Emotionally rich story about a family dealing with hardship.

Awe-inspiring, sweeping in scope and full of interesting facts that you may not otherwise come across. Oh, and it also calls into question the entire foundation upon which the global economy is built and tantalizes with the thought that there may be a better way.

5000 year history of debt, long explanation but very worthwhile of how we have changed the nature of our debts from simple exchange to major ways to profit from interest.

The Help: I love this book; for the backdrop of the Civil Rights Movement and the strength of the women characters.

As always I am behind on the book trends but . The help is such a good read. The movie is lovely but as usual the book allows the relationships to develop and tell the full story. Even if you have seen the film the book is still a must read.

As the late author planned, the books form a coming-of-age story, albeit an unconventional one, in which the rough-edged computer genius Lisbeth Salander moves from aggressively antisocial behavior toward self-awareness and happiness. Much of that happens in this book, and Salander's stridency is subtly decreasing, even as she is forced to combat an awesome array of villains.
