The Castle Church (properly, Church of All Saints) in Wittenberg, Germany. The door of the church was commonly used as a community bulletin board. On 31 October 1517, Martin Luther posted his 95 theses on the doors of All Saints Church, which is commonly viewed to be a catalyst for the Protestant Reformation.

Protestant Reformation-  Is a religious reform movement that divided western Churches into Catholics and Protestants. The reason for this reform was the corruption with Popes during the Renaissance. They were becoming too involved in military affairs and not so involved in the church. So some Christians separated and wanted to be Protestants.(Rains)
