Britain's Princess Diana, the Princess of Wales, speaking after she has been presented with the Golden Mercury Award, presented by the board of Interflora Incorporated, at the Savoy Hotel, London, on June 14, 1989.
I think Diana was thankful and aware of what ensembles cost and was always careful to be kind to her public; they were paying for it. Camilla on the other hand sees this fancy schmancy life and her new role as old whore as her due, like she deserves it. I have not seen a single photo of her where she really cares to interact with the public. Even when she's slurping and gulping the foods and drinks at public 'outings' a sense of connection with the people is not visible.
