@WomenIncarceration This article talks a bit about Ferguson but i wanted to bring attention to, was the punishments for the female offenders. Although the book talks about women in drug wars, "...most significant effects the drug war has had on minority communities is the increasing number of women being incarcerated". (Fitzgerald, 333) I thought this was a good example of how each of them get punished differently, one more harshly than the other. @WomenInPrison @WhitePrivilege
