Sir Lawrence Alma-Tadema. The Baths of Caracalla. Oil on canvas. Private Collection, UK. The Baths of Caracalla. The remains of the enormous Baths of the Roman Emperor Caracalla can still be seen in Rome, and are used for the staging of operas.
