Scandinavian Tortoise Fibula, ca. either Viking Era (AD VIII-XI) or Late Iron Age (AD XI-XIII). From a metal detecting find in northern Russia, "site of the 16th century village on the shores of Ladoga lake in Karelian Isthmus" [My note: Viking Age ~780 to ~1066 CE. Iron Age was prior to it. Not sure what dating system OP was using.]
Viking brooch, made from a copper alloy. Found at the burial site near Cumwhitton in north Cumbria
Bronze oval brooch: two-piece construction; openwork upper shell with nine cast bosses; cast anthropomorphic masks and degenerate animal decoration; lower shell with frieze of Jellinge style ribbon interlace animals. (N.B.: The note about Jellinge style decoration came from the museum's website). Findspot: Aizkraukle, Latvia. In the British Museum. Date: 10th century CE.
