Here's a bit of our history ... in the 1970's, a group of engineers, soil scientists, and sanitarians investigated new wastewater technologies, designed and monitored demonstration projects, and then helped write new onsite rules for the State of Oregon. During this process, they discovered that much of the equipment required to implement their innovative designs was not commercially available. Orenco was established in Douglas County to manufacture the specialized equipment that was needed.

What a gorgeous sunrise! We actually have our own AdvanTex Treatment System installed right here in the ground at headquarters in Sutherlin, Oregon.

The owners of the Granduc copper mine in northern British Columbia, Canada, were looking for a wastewater treatment solution. A local engineer suggested an Orenco AdvanTex AX-Mobile Treatment System because these robust units work well in extreme conditions, are easy to ship and set, and have low operation and maintenance needs.

With a failed septic drainfield and not enough land to install a new one, homeowners in North Carolina were faced with the frightening possibility of losing the use of their home. Then, engineer Kevin Davidson suggested the installation of an AdvanTex AX20-RTUV, a wastewater treatment system that could meet surface discharge standards, eliminating the need for a drainfield.

Remote camps, mobile military units, and natural disaster sites all have something in common: they need reliable, low-maintenance, energy-efficient wastewater treatment that can be easily deployed and transported. Orenco's AdvanTex AX-Mobile is a portable, "plug & play" wastewater treatment system that can be shipped by truck, rail, cargo container, or aircraft. And the resulting effluent is suitable for reuse applications such as dust control and irrigation.
