Morir Soñando (To die dreaming) This drink from the Dominican Republic is very refreshing during a hot summer day. It is sweet, filling and nourishing. Ingredients: 2 cups fresh squeezed orange juice (or Tropicana orange juice) 2 cups milk (I like evaporated milk, because it tastes richer) 1/4 cup sugar, 1/2 tpn vanilla, Lots of crushed ice! Mix sugar, milk and vanilla until sugar has incorporated into liquid. Add orange juice and whisk. Pour over ice and serve with a a straw!
Nan s Batter for Fish from Food.com. Pinner says: "like the take-out batter used here in Newfoundland for fish. Very tasty with the perfect amount of each ingredient without it being too oily or salty. I just fried this in a pan with some oil. I guess you can deep fry them also.
