Nenana is a village at the confluence where the tributary Nenana River enters the Tanana.  Mears Memorial Bridge was completed in 1923 as part of Alaska's railroad project and connected Fairbanks and Anchorage.  The train depot there was completed the same year. Longest truss bridge in America and its territories at the time.  Still 3rd longest in USA. slj
