A powerful storm hammers the landscape around Utah’s Arches National Park. Astrophotographer David Lane captured this striking shot of multiple lightning strikes. Venus (brightest lower right) and Jupiter (middle) are visible while the blue star Regulus (upper left) is shrouded in a bit of clouds. Photo courtesy of David Lane.
The Hammer, Arches National Park, Utah. Not one of the more famous sights (or sites) in the park - in fact, you have to go off-trail to see it (but at least you're walking on slickrock, so you're not leaving disruptive tracks). But well worth a side trip!
The Ultimate Guide to Bryce Canyon National Park road trip makes stops at Bryce Canyon National Park, Bryce Canyon Sunset Point, Ponderosa Canyon - Bryce Canyon and others. Plan your road trip with Roadtrippers.
