Unfortunately. the string cheese pieces melted into flat little patties and looked nothing like the perfect little nuggets in the picture. Sausage Cheese Balls are very tasty but dry out very quickly. I made a cooking sauce of sweet oriental chili sauce, crushed pineapple, plum jelly and sautéed finly chopped onion, celery & carrot.

Sausage balls-     Ingredients    1 lb Jimmy Dean sausage, uncooked    2 cups of Bisquick baking mix    3 cups sharp chedder cheese shredded  Preheat oven to 350 degrees.    Mix all three of the above together and then roll into 1 inch balls. Place on an ungreased cookie sheet and bake in the oven for 25 minutes.
