My favourite object. Curse tablet written on a small piece of lead, found in the spring of the Bath Roman spa. This small but unique object contains the only surviving words written in British Celtic.  The curse includes a list of names. Celtic text written down in Latin letters. It is likely that British was only a spoken language and therefore in writing, people would have used Latin letters, i.e. an attempt to write British sounds in Latin letters. <:((((><(
