Georges-Pierre Seurat French painter, was born in Paris. He studied at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in His teacher was a disciple of Jean-Auguste-Dominique Ingres. Young Seurat was strongly influenced by Rembrandt and Francisco de Goya.
George Seurat, La Parade Pointillism is a technique of painting in which small, distinct dots of pure colour are applied in patterns to form an image. Georges Seurat and Paul Signac developed the technique in branching from Impressionism.
