Tootsie - 1982 - I am staggered by the negative reviews for this excellent comedy, one of the finest films of the 80s and a movie that inexplicably did not win an armful of Academy Awards (Gandhi is a nice movie, but it is a bit by-the-numbers in typical Richard Attenborough style – Dustin Hoffman, director Sydney Pollack, and writers Larry Gelbart and Murray Schisgal all should have won over their counterparts).

Duck Dynasty is my favorite tv show. Every wednesday night at 10pm you can find me sitting on the couch enjoying some sweet tea. This show appeals to me because it is not only hilarious but it also involves this family showing the passion they have for the outsoors, like me. I believe this show appeals to society for many of the same reasons, along with not including sex, drugs, and drinking.
