I was walking with a client recently ... (walking coaching is a new premier coaching offering I'm doing with clients) ...and this little gem of insight came up. We came to the conclusion that until we're committed to the proper care of our 'selves' we won't be able to truly connect with our purpose. Self care IS the path to purpose.
This Seth Godin book was reccomended to me by my storytelling social media guru friend @micahdhorner .... And it's soooo good! Plus it's the perfect sized book. Small. Floppy. And lightweight. I've got some good stories to tell that's for sure. And I ain't no liar. That's for sure too.
Your strength is your own belief. NOBODY else will be able to believe in your vision or your project or your product more than you. Belief is a super power. Use it wisely.

Thats me the little one on my mom's lap. I was a shy kid. "You always used to hide behind your moms legs" they would tell me. "You used to be so shy!" I dont know exactly when it happened but I decided being shy wasnt for me anymore. It makes me wonder how many self-fulfilling prophecies are we still living out?
