...♔..sc- We could easily traverse the tiny lane that ran in front of our two properties. Mine, with the wooden gate in the stone wall; my best friend's gate was wrought iron, and the fence covered in Lady Banks rose bushes. Entering her house was to have tea in English China cups, Royal Albert, to be sure. Visiting at my house, we sipped little coffees, with lots of milk and sugar, in Grandma's child size earthenware mugs, specially reserved for use by my friend and me.
Beautiful . . . my critique--brick chimney above stove hood doesn't fit and the smaller beams seem a little small for the room. I think a paneled and beam ceiling would fit better. Things I love--the stove hood and brackets, the stone work, the bar stools and island, the door frame is nice.
