Joel Gott 2011 California Chardonnay combines fruit from three different California regions - Monterey, Napa, and Sonoma Counties. It does not go thru malolactic fermentation, nor does it see any oak during the aging process, so the flavor profile is apple, pear, and white peach. Bright acidity and very refreshing, even at room temperature. $16.99 at Curious Grape http://www.gottwines.com/jgw/2012/03/04/unoaked-chardonnay/
