One of my favorite movies of all time is "Seven" - a distributing, gritty film that disturbs you in the right way. A groundbreaking film in the genre.

The lives of gangsters telling the misguided loyalties and greed.  Breathtaking pics, witty script writing and realistic violence. One of Robert De Niro's best performances.

"Dead Poets Society" (1989).  English teacher John Keating inspires his students to a love of poetry and to seize the day.  I'd forgotten what a great movie this is--well worth seeing again.  Robin Williams does a terrific job as the English teacher.  Also, I didn't realize this was directed by Peter Weir.
