So in the middle of my ride today I decided to sign up for a 50 mile race this weekend. Things have been going terrible for me lately. I've really been struggling. But I know I'm capable of so much more than I've been showing. So I wanted to find something to push me outside of my comfort zone. It took everything in me but I managed to become an ironman for the second time.  The conditions were hot as hell and it stormed for half the marathon. I wasn't sure I was going to make it on the bike and my mental game was at an all time low but I kept telling myself that the best will succeed in spite of the odds being stacked against them.
