This car was purchased by Alfred Rose when the Hetch Hetchy Railroad ceased operations. He loaned it to the National Park Service for display at El Portal at the Yosemite Museum of Transportation. The car is now preserved at Rail Town 1897, a branch of the California State Railroad Museum at Jamestown, California.

on the side of the train is "Ejercito Mexicano Tren Militar," which translates to "Mexican Military Army Train." This train has stopped at the Juarez train depot in Ciudad Juarez. The train car is protected by a wall of thick steal on all sides. There are 23 rifle holes along this side of the car and a turret like housing unit in the center of the car.
