What a find this one was, and what a bargain. There are not many Tudor Era jewels around that I can find or afford, even in London, so I was thrilled

Not a coin (where I'm filing this) but the inscription is worth keeping...

Gold posy ring, decorated on the exterior with flowers and foliage in relief; the interior with inscription and maker's mark. The ring inscription reads: “I love and like my choice”.

Very Rare Georgian Ruby Sapphire Emerald Diamond Gold Ring circa 1760  -    Giardinetti means 'little gardens' in Italian. This style of cluster originated in Italy in the late 17th century and became very popular throughout the 18th century. Typically, a giardinetti piece is made up of multi-coloured gemstones depicting a floral bouquet arranged in a basket or vase. This is a very fine and rare example.
