On My Own from Les Miserables (2012 film)- Performed by Samantha Barks--This song is so incredibly touching and poignant. Samantha's version is so heart-wrenching, expressing such distress and devastation. So beautiful. And I LOVE the gentle sound of the rain. <3
The words are very chilling.... And so inspirational. It only made me cry the first time I listened. Now I sing it and smile. On repeat daily, staying focused. Whitney has always reminded me of my mom (in life & death) I feel like the song is a message from her telling me I CAN do this.... I just have to TRY IT ON MY OWN!!
"I didn't know my own strength"--- In memory of Whitney Houston. The lyrics has a deep reflection to her life on earth... yet she kept her faith in God to heal her situations. She song explains a cry out for help and her faith. She is not a angle of God who fell here on earth, like most she defaulted to the world... now this angle is back home, healed and singing.
I have nothing to go on period. You have made this an impossible situation for me because you insist on acting like a pampered princess expecting me to somehow read whatever the hell you want me to do in a language that is utterly foreign to me. You can't expect anything more from me than I have already given and I am more than within my rights to demand something from you
Maria CampbellThe Chicken Chick at Egg Carton Labels by ADozenGirlz, I wanted to show you my grit/oyster shell feeder I made today. I saw one kind of like it somewhere so I cobbled together one of my own. Having chickens is so much fun even when I don't spend time with them. The lid flips up to fill the tubes and is slanted to discourage chicken roosting. The wood is unfinished and all edges are sanded for the chicken's safety.
