Armure en bronze Trouvée en 1956 dans une tombe qui contenait aussi deux haches en fer, des chenets et des obéloi (voir figures suivantes), c’est jusqu’à présent la seule armure complète d’époque géométrique découverte en Grèce. Le casque est pourvu de couvre-joues et d’un cimier en fer à cheval ; la cuirasse se compose d’un plastron et d’une dossière en bronze. Cet armement, qui est celui des guerriers homériques, préfigure directement celui des hoplites.
