Hi Crate Paper friends! Amy Heller here today with a fun way to embellish cards, tags or even scrapbook pages - with origami! Today I'm going to focus on creating an origami heart (since it's Valentine's Day!
I like this one for an anniversary card too. It was fun to try to make it one layer. Slightly failed, but I'm still happy with the way it turned out.
Video : Scribble Flowers at Scrapbook Boutique! I don't have these but I do have the Scribbles Roses and they would work perfectly with this technique. She spends a lot of time getting the placement right but you can just copy what she did!
Self Adressed Love: Scrapbook Card (this is a scrap) if you cant tell, the hearts were punched out from a paint swatch- and then used twine at bottom tied off. oh and this was used out of plain white computer paper(yes i know, but whatever) and black cardstock. i just stamped on the other parts and played around with it to make the splatters (very much a test card but still an example of what cheap/free things you can use to make one )
