Ice flowers for punch bowls, cool!! Use the bottom of a pop bottle water bottle, the mold from a cake or jello mold to make decorative ice for the punch bowl at your next birthday party, baby shower, bridal shower, 4th of July Party, Barbq, picnic or event. Great recipe!! Remember this one!!
I used to make these all the time as a kid. There are so many variations you can do. With all the different colors of tissue paper they have now, the kids love making these http://crafts.kaboose.com/flower2.html
I just found this really cute, cost-effective decorating idea that actually serve two purposes: adorable centerpieces that double as beautifully take-home packaged party favors filled with your favorite gourmet treats for your guests.
Icing Designs: "Candy" Globes. This is simple. You need chinese lanterns, tulle & ribbon. (For different sized globes cut lengths of tulle accordingly.) For small globe: 6 layers of tulle 12" long. Pull thru the metal part that secures globe, till the lengths are even. Tie each end with ribbon. Pull & tack ribbon where the ribbon meets the globe with hot glue. *(Try with an inflated balloon wrapped with Cear or colored cellophane OR layers of tulle & tied with ribbon)! :)
