A 13th-century pre-Columbian mummy of an Inca adult female from Peru on display at the California Science Center, Los Angeles. Mummies have been found in remote regions of the Andes Mountains, some remarkably well-preserved with skin and hair, in spite of many being around 1,000 years old.
King Tut's still-born baby girl found in his tomb. DNA tests also found she had Marfan Syndrome. One other baby was found w/the king that was much smaller then this one. These two tiny babies are the only examples of mummified fetuses in ancient Egypt
I found this link to e so interesting I was amazed at how old some of these mummies are! 10 Ancient Faces – best preserved bodies of the last 5,000 years | this Tocharian female is a Tarim mummy and lived around 1,000 BC. She was tall, with a high nose and long flaxen blond hair, perfectly preserved in ponytails. The weave of her clothing appears similar to Celtic cloth. She was around 40 years-old when she died.
Pyramids in Meroë (Sudan) built 3200 years ago. During the hightimes of the Nubian Empire. There are some 300 pyramids in Sudan that were built for the Nubian Pharaohs. Compared with the pyramids in Egypt they are smaller and with a steeper angle. In Egypt there are only 60+ pyramids.
