You wouldn’t believe this place exists in India 🇮🇳 • This definitely elevated my Leh Ladakh experience ✨ • 📝 There’s a active Geothermal belt in the South Eastern part of ladakh particularly in the Puga Valley. • 🧪 The geothermal activity translates to active hot springs, mud pools, quick sands, sulphur and borax deposits. • 📍Directions: This can particularly be seen in Puga Valley on the way to Tsokar. Watch out for active hot springs spewing steam across the green fields. • ⚠️ Disclaimer: Getting to the hot spring isn’t really safe, your feet might go knee deep into mud in some areas, we were carrying ropes with us just in case one of us falls in.
