Love the design of the gate for the front of the house. traditional landscape by Keith Willig Landscape Services, Inc.

Love the idea of a draped porch, but my practical side laughs hysterically when I think of actually trying it in my area.

Hydrangea, fern and sweet potato vines for back planters

Love these plants for the front planter box - create a sense of privacy at the front door. Shade loving container gardening, planters for front porch, ferns, hydrangea and sweet potato vine. Gorgeous and welcoming.

I love the idea of leaving some soil against the house underneath the upper deck so I can plant hostas in the shade!! The hammock's nice, too. :)

Something like this might be a good idea! Pea gravel under deck (play space for kids Or hammock area) but transitioned nicely to the lower patio.
