Rudolf Leopold developed an interest in the art of »Vienna 1900« early on and began collecting works by Gustav Klimt already in the 1950s. Along with eight eminent paintings, the Leopold Museum houses approximately 100 drawings by the master. The publication’s main emphasis is on the illustrations, with each work being shown on a full-page, as well as on the scientific-technical documentation of all works.
