Allégorie de la France et de Napoléon Bonaparte, par Le Sueyr

Allégorie de la France et de Napoléon Bonaparte, par Le Sueyr

Given an army of 1,000 men, Napoleon returned from exile to Elba with ease; convincing thousands of men to join his forces. However, now that he had returned and failed, that mistake would not be made again. There was no chance of Napoleon coming back from St. Helena after the precautions were taken; leading to his defeat in all areas.

A really beautiful picture of Napoleon with flowers falling from the sky. He almost seems retrospective.
