These are my mini greenhouses for winter gardening. They open for venting; they close for protection. They open all the way for easy harvest. High walls allow plenty of room for taller plants. Pitched roofs will shed snow in the Michigan winter. I built six of them. The garden is ready for winter!! I love fall gardening. It's the best time of year. All harvest, no work and no weeds! :)
tomatoes such as 'Patio' and 'Patio Princess' are good for container growing. They're perfect for growing in hanging baskets. Examples: 'Tumbler', 'Tumbling Tom Yellow' (pictured). More helpful info at http://www.tomatodirt.com/growing-tomatoes-in-pots.html. - Didn't know..my Patio just went into a ground pot...hanging would be great!
