“Facade VI” 21″ x 33″ “Façade VI” is part of my series focused on transparency, texture, shape and line. I have used loosely woven scrim, and a variety of sheer and textured materials ranging from hand-dyed silks to burlap to screening. It is all stitched to sheer silk organza, creating subtle color and value shifts as one color is placed to overlap another.
"New ideas in Fusing Fabric", written by Margaret Beal inspires you with creative cutting, bonding and mark making with the soldering iron, great textile art ideas! To source the book and the soldering iron contact firstname.lastname@example.org
