“It becomes apparent that this is a book about the fluidity of identity, for a rapid sequence of events sees the heroine assuming and then casting off different names and back-stories as she lurches from one situation to the next and finds the layers of self peeling away. This novel explores the possibilities of escape from a life that has become intolerable, and the mysteries and dangers of an unfamiliar culture.” SMH
The Husband's Secret by Liane Moriarty. Cecelia finds a letter from her husband "to be opened when i am dead". Wonderfully written, excellent characterisation and highly recommended. Read it - I couldn't put it down!
