Strawberry Daiquiris (Susan) Ice cubes 2 parts light rum 1 part Triple Sec 1 part fresh strawberries, tops trimmed off Lime juice, as needed Lime wedges Sugar Use imperial measurements Method How to make Strawberry Daiquiri Add to a blender and puree: ice cubes, light rum, Triple Sec, fresh strawberries and lime juice. Rub the rim of a glass with lime. Roll the glass in sugar. Garnish with lime wedges. Taste and enjoy!
Strawberry Balsamic Basil Daiquiri 1/4 c ice cubes 1/2 c sliced fresh strawberries 4 T light rum 1/2 t balsamic vinegar 2 large fresh basil leaves plus 1 small sprig for garnish Place the ice cubes, strawberries, light rum, balsamic vinegar and basil leaves in the pitcher of a blender and blend until smooth and slushy. Pour into a tall glass and garnish with a small basil sprig. Cook's Note: If your strawberries aren't very sweet, add up to 1/2 teaspoon superfine sugar
