I am inspired by the French country/province styles and Annie Sloan, the chalk paint queen. My goal is to make everything in my shop unique for you with the original floral hand painting, wood applique, or gold leaf. And depending on the theme, sometimes, I use stencils to give them that rare character. I use organic Hemp seed oil to clean and naturally varnish inside the drawers and cabinets on the more oversized items. I use chalk paint, Annie Sloan clear and antique wax, acrylic paint, and gilding wax. Visible brush strokes and highlights created by the wax add to my babies' beauty and make them closer to the French country/provincial style. The gilding wax is applied by hand and isn't straight or regular lines. You can feel the floral designs under your fingers when you touch them. Sometimes, there is residual organic Hemp seed oil odor where it was applied. Use a soft, dry cloth for dust removal and never use or rub damp cloths. Please consider the yearly application of the wax or other protective layer.
