Patterson Garden Arboretum at the University of Saskatchewan. Many of the collections’ species and cultivars are fairly rare in cultivation, although the more common trees, shrubs and vines are also included. Some of the maturing specimens include amur cork tree, scarlet maple, Japanese elm, Manchurian ash and Swiss stone pine. The arboretum is located on the southeast corner of Preston Avenue North and College Drive in Saskatoon. It is open from sunrise to sunset, 365 days of the year.
