Mid century Straits Chinese gold bracelet set with hand cut diamonds in 20k gold. These diamonds are hand cut rose cut diamonds, recognisable with primitively cut facets, having fewer facets than Victorian rose cut diamonds. Other than rough diamonds, these are the most organic cuts. From the late 19th century, these organic rose cut diamonds were the mainstay of Straits Chinese jewellery.
