Dumbbell lateral raises mistakes and corrections tips. ❌️Do not internally rotate the shoulder joint by tilting the dumbbell. This may cause shoulder impingement in some cases. ❌️Do not hold the dumbbells above the shoulder level. This causes shoulder girdle elevation (more traps) and hence limits the training of targeted muscles. ✅️Always make sure to push the dumbbell outwards at the shoulder level such that the arms are parallel to the floor.
