Halloween Assemblage Vintage Inspired Trick or Treat - Etsy

Halloween assemblage - Trick or Treat - with a nostalgic look. This hand-painted hexagon lidded box began as Kraft paper. Black acrylic paint and a final coat of acrylic gloss spray lacquer transformed it. The box is decorated with wired ribbon edged in mini Pom-poms. The top and bottom orange gross-grain ribbon is actually cut from another wider ribbon. A black, glittered center medallion ties it together The scene on top under the metal Trick or Treat banner is a beautifully hand-decorated paper coffin (I curated it as is); a vintage-inspired pumpkin jester standing on a pumpkin head; 3 glass Halloween ornaments, one a vintage Lillian Vernon Jack-o-Lantern, and one a Christopher Radko for Shiny Bright pumpkin; vintage flocked ghost and black cat; hand-glittered bottle brush tree; a glittered spider; an adorable wool-felted ghost; glittered pine cones; a barren, black wire tree with a folk-art crow sitting in the top; and a miniature white swan - because I like it. Unlike most of my assemblages displayed on lidded boxes, this box is sealed shut. The Metal Trick or Treat sign is implanted into styrofoam attached to the inside the box (that sign's not going anywhere). All my assemblages are one of a kind and will not be re-created.
