This book is my life story. I was born in the mountains of Northern Italy and there I learned the importance of working since I was a child, of dreaming and learning. As a young girl I went to work in Turin and later in Paris and, after painful events, ended up in California where I still live. Here I met the kindest and most ingenious man who left me too soon.
