This group of shuttle spindles all stand between 7" - 10" long. Nine spindles come in each order. If you are looking for spindles with a variety of colored thread, please look for Threaded Shuttle Spindles on our shop (Item_ST-1). Due to the nature of antiquing, we are never 100% sure of when our mill relics were made, but these seem to have come from the 1930s, and were used in silk production. If you need to get in touch with us, please use Item_ST-2 to reference this product. Nowadays, our bobbins are often used in crafting and other creative arts. Many people also use them for home decor or table centerpieces. The possibilities are endless, and we look forward to seeing what you come up with! Please note: as we like to say, "bobbins are seasoned workers in dignified retirement." That means that your bobbins sometimes may show signs of wear and tear. We do our best to be as explicit as possible in the listing with any defects that might appear. We occasionally have a large quantity of bobbins and quills available.
