Hindu - The Life and Teaching of Saint Ramalingar About the Author: Dr. SP. Annamalai is the Post-Graduate Professor of Tamil, Thiagarajar College, Madurai. Born in Devakottai (Tamil Nadu) in 1929, he received his higher education in the Pachaiyappa's College, Madras, and stood first in the University in the B.O.L. (Hons.) Examination (1952). In 1968 he visited Malaysia and Singapore on the invitation of The Federation of Tamils to give special lectures on Tamil Cultures and Literature.
