A Yellow Gold, Emerald, Diamond, Pearl and Polychrome Enamel Collar Necklace, Deccan, containing 67 pear shape lasque and rose cut diamonds, 26 cultured pearls measuring 5.63-5.69 mm in diameter, ten square and rectangular cut emeralds and 27 emerald beads measuring from approximately 7.20 x 5.80 mm up to 17.64 x 11.64 mm, the reverse accented in a foliate pattern of red, green and white enamel, joined with a high karat gold link hook-and-eye clasp. 105.50 dwts.
19th Century Indian Emerald Diamond Bena Pendant. Antique, 19th Century, Indian enamel head bena pendant, centering a big table cut foliated emerald. Surrounding the center are table cut diamonds and emerald cabochon depicting a floral motive. The hair ornament, which can also be worn as a neck pendant, suspends three pearl and emerald movable tassels. As per Indian Mughal tradition the backside features fine enamel work with red, green and white enamel depicting two birds in a garden.
