Kathakali is a highly stylized classical Indian dance -drama noted for the attractive make-up, characters, elaborate , extraordinary costumes, detailed gestures and well defined movements presented in tune with anchor playback music to transport the audience to a world of wonders. It is originated in kerala. Recently they produced kathakali plays based on shakespeare's Othello.
